Order Form Updates for OCTOBER 1st

At TiLite, we continually look for ways to improve our products. Every three months we integrate these improvements into our order forms to ensure that everyone has access to the latest TiLite technology.

With this release, we have 5 new updates:

• Armed Forces Edition
  TiLite is proud to offer the Armed Forces Editions, available on the TiLite ZR | ZRA Series 2, 2GX and Aero X.  Themed to honor the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, the Armed Forces Edition features digital camouflage upholstery, a service patch specific to each branch and military powder coat paint colors. • Wheelchair Transport Brackets
  Available on the TiLite ZR, ZRA Series 2, Aero Z, Aero X and 2GX. The Transport Brackets Option provides four distinct designated tie-down locations on the frame of the wheelchair. These transport brackets are designed to allow to quickly and safely transport the wheelchair.  Retail $250

  Ultrasuede Stripe on Neoprene Impact Guards. Red Pepper, Black (standard), Burnt Orange, Espresso, Sapphire, Sub-Lime and Ultraviolet.

  TiLite 9 Piece SAE Round Handle Folding Hex Key Set.

  Titanium Flip-Back Footrest
  Now available with a V-Front End on the TiLite ZR, ZRA, TR, YR and Aero Z.  Do you like the ride and light weight of a rigid chair, but need to move the footrest out of the way for transfers?  This unique option does just that!  The footrest design simply flips back out of the way, allowing you to place your feet flat on the floor for transfers to and from the chair.  Now you can have the benefits of a rigid frame without sacrificing function, weight or performance. • Ultrasuede Stripe on Neoprene Impact Guards
  Protect and personalize your TiLite with colored Neoprene Impact Guards. Choose from 6 Ultrasuede colors: Sapphire, Red Pepper, Burnt Orange, Sub-Lime, Ultraviolet and Espresso. Retail $95 (price includes impact guards).
  
  
  
• TiLite 9 Piece SAE Round Handle Folding Hex Key Set.
  The 9 Piece Round Handle Folding Hex Key Set is designed to loosen and tighten many of the hex screws used on TiLite chairs. Its 9 hex keys are made with hardened steel for durability.  And the round handle design makes it easier to get into those tight spots.
• Set includes 5/64”, 3/32”, 7/64”, 1/8”, 9/64”, 5/32”, 3/16”, 7/32” and 1/4” hex keys
• Made with hardened steel for durability
• Polished, chamfered edges help to guide keys into hex sockets easily

At TiLite we are always looking for ways to improve. Whether it’s designing new chairs or creating more efficient ways to produce them, our goal is to be the best.  One of the most recent changes we’ve made is changing the prices of our parts! We’ve researched the parts you’ve purchased most frequently and lowered our prices to make us even more competitive!  That means you will see savings on parts like Calf Straps, Side Guards, Upholstery and Wheel Locks, just to mention a few.

Materials Update

Titanium - A Definition: 

According to the Wikipedia Dictionary, Titanium is a chemical element with the symbol Ti and atomic number 22. Sometimes called the “space age metal”, it has a low density and is a strong, lustrous, corrosion-resistant (including sea water, aqua regia and chlorine) transition metal with a silver color.

But that is only part of the story....

How does this translate to useful information for the wheelchair user?  At TiLite we have spent over 12 years welding, manipulating and designing Titanium products with one thing in mind: How do we develop the most efficient, comfortable, durable, cost effective and great looking wheelchair without sacrificing performance and innovation?  Here are the facts about Titanium:

• Titanium is strong!  Contrary to recent reports, it is 44% stronger than 7000 series aluminum.

• Titanium absorbs vibration.  This means those bumps and jostles experienced on the road are absorbed by the frame, NOT transmitted to the user.  Why waste your time and energy on anything but efficient propulsion?

• Titanium is durable. We all know funding for wheelchairs is limited...so you want the most cost effective product.  Titanium is it.  It is corrosion resistant, strong, and will hold up to even the toughest user. With one of the highest strength to weight ratios of all metals, it lives up to a lifetime of expectations.
  
  
• Titanium requires specialty manufacturing and welding techniques.  It is true - Titanium is not easy to work with.  So why get your mobility device from anyone but the experts?  TiLite is a Titanium manufacturer first and foremost.  We have been in the Ti business for over 30 years and have the knowledge and expertise to keep you rolling.
  
  
• At TiLite we custom build our frames.  No cookie cutter frames with a selection of options. At TiLite we don’t bend a tube until we receive an order.  This means our frames are built to fit the user - the user doesn’t have to fit the frame!  Our unique manufacturing process helps to ensure a perfect fit and gives you the options that will match your individual needs.
