The Ultimate
The TiLite ZR is like a sport version of the ZRA.  The theory behind it is that highly adjustable, bolted on components add weight, bulk and maintenance demands, and reduce performance.  Therefore, to achieve the lightest weight and highest performance level possible, these components must be eliminated!  The ZR accomplishes this by exchanging these components for welded on, minimally adjustable ones, like the ZR’s 1.25 inches of forward and rearward center of gravity adjustment.  The ZR offers the experienced user the ability to dial in every aspect of the chair for the ultimate TiLite experience.

Titanium
The TiLite ZR is hand crafted from seamless, aerospace-grade titanium. Why titanium?

• Because titanium has no equal when it comes to dampening vibrations caused by riding over rough or uneven surfaces. This means superior comfort for the user during many hours of use.
• Because titanium’s weight is about one-half that of the aluminum used in most wheelchairs. This means that a complete 16” x 16” ZR in its standard configuration weighs only 18.3 pounds!
• Because titanium is incredibly strong. This means the ZR will shake off years of abuse.
  

Custom Built
Each ZR begins life in our Designs Unlimited Studio, where we draw the frame to each user’s individual specifications.  Next, TiLite fabricators and welders bring the drawings to life by hand building the ZR’s 1.25” mono-tube titanium frame to exacting standards.  Finally, before each ZR leaves the TiLite factory in Washington State, we carefully assemble and inspect it to ensure that it matches precisely what our customer has ordered.  Each ZR is like no other ZR.

Bullet Caster Housing
TiLite’s exclusive Bullet Caster Housing was created by designing an integral frame component with two goals in mind; low weight and elegant looks.  Like many of TiLite’s innovations, the Bullet Caster design reduces the weight of the chair.  Sometimes simple really is better.

TiShaft Back Release Bar
The ZR features the TiShaft back release bar, which eliminates the outdated string used to fold the backrest on most chairs.
